Alcatel seems to be the only company taking the IFA 2013 seriously. The company after announcing competing smartphones like the One Touch Hero, has now launched a series of budget Android smartphones.
The new Alcatel One Touch Pop series features four new entry level Android 4.2 smartphones with comparatively smaller display and lower price tags. The smallest, the Alcatel One Touch Pop C1, is an entry level smartphone with a small 3.5 inch display. The device is powered by a 1 GHz processor.
The Alcatel One Touch Pop C3 has a medium 4 inch display and a 1.3 GHz dual core processor whereas the Alcatel One Touch Pop C5 has a 4.5 inch display with the same 1.3 GHz dual core processor. The latter has a 5 MP primary camera whereas the former has a 3.2 MP camera.
Finally the Alcatel One Touch Pop C7 has a bigger 5 inch display. The device is powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The smartphone offers a 5 MP camera. The devices of this series are expected to be released by the end of this quarter and would be priced affordably.
