Just last week there were reports that the successor to the Alcatel Idol X would come with dual SIM support, now new reports suggest that the company may also launch a smart watch and a bracelet.
According to reports, Alcatel may be launching a smart watch and a smart bracelet along with the Alcatel Idol X+. The devices seen in the picture appear with a cryptic equation reading “1+1>2?” While not much of the Alcatel smart watch and smart bracelet is known at the moment, we can expect them to be paired with the Idol X+ with ability to notify the users of incoming calls and messages.
The Alcatel Idol X+ is said to be powered by the recently released true octa core MediaTek processor. Also expected is a 13 MP camera. While the launch date is not yet known we can expect the handset along with the other devices to feature at the CES 2014, which is scheduled for January 2014.
Expected specs of the Alcatel Idol X+:
- 5 inch display
- 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution
- 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB internal memory
- 13 MP primary camera
- 2 MP front facing camera
- Google Android v4.2 Jelly Bean
