Airtel has played another card to gain additional subscriber base in Tamil Nadu. New Airtel Life Time Prepaid card is now available at Rs 49 only. Existing Airtel customers can avail themselves of this facility at Rs. 48 only.
Under the new scheme, the customer could go mobile by paying Rs. 49 for the starter pack and Rs. 49 for recharge. But there is catch in this schemeand that is – the customer has to do a minimum of Rs. 200 recharge every 180 days to continue enjoying lifetime validity benefits. And those who do not full fill this 180 days condition will have to face a permanent de-activation of their SIM.
