Further expanding its 4G footprint across India, Airtel has now launched the 4G services in Uttar Pradesh.
Airtel has announced the launch of its 4G LTE services in Uttar Pradesh (UP) starting with Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Agra, Aligarh, Bulandshahar, Hapur, Mathura, Modinagar, Muzzafarnagar and Meerut. The services, which are rolled out using the 1800 MHz (FD LTE) band, can be accessed from a range of smart devices including mobile phones, 4G MiFi and dongles.
Airtel also launched an introductory offer for its prepaid customers using which they can enjoy 10 GB of 4G data for just Rs. 249 with any new 4G smartphone. On successful recharge of Rs. 249, 1 GB data will be credited instantly, while the remaining 9 GB can be through the MyAirtel app.
