After rolling out 4G services in the tri-city region of Punjab and Haryana, Airtel is now expanding its services to more cities within the Punjab circle.
Airtel has announced the launch of its 4G LTE services in Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara and Kapurthala in the Punjab circle. Currently the services can be availed by Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C users by upgrading to a USIM / 4G SIM and is priced at just Rs. 49. However the SIM comes free on the purchase of dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs.
New Airtel 4G customers can avail the special pack of Rs. 999 for post-paid customers and Rs. 995 for prepaid customers which offers 10 GB of 4G data. Like other areas, Airtel has already set up special 4G demo zones at Court Road, Kitchlu Chowk, near petrol pump; in Hoshiarpur at Clock Tower, Kotwali Bazar; in Phagwara at 462, Guru Hargobind Nagar, near Improvement Trust and in Kapurthala at Court Chowk.
