In an attempt to acquire the customer base of one of the leading smartphone vendor in India, Aircel has announced a partnership with Micromax.
As per the partnership between Aircel and Micromax, which is the second leading smartphone vendor in India, the company will provide attractive bundled offers for Micromax smartphone and dongle users. Both the companies would share their Channel and Retail Networks, Sales Resources and run an integrated device sales activation program.
As part of the bundled offer, Micromax smartphone users can avail local calling at 1 paise per two seconds and 2 GB of data per month for three months. Users would also get an additional Rs. 10000 worth WAP content and Popcorn TY app for free. While 2G customers would enjoy the same calling rates, they would be entitled to just 1 GB data per month for three months. Aircel customers using the Micromax 3G Dongles would get 500 MB per month for three months.
