Aircel, the popular Indian retailer has just announced a new strategic partnership with Micromax, India’s 2nd largest smartphone maker and MediaTek, one of the leaders in chipsets. Under the new partnership, Aircel will bring exclusive special offers for Micromax devices powered by MediaTek chipsets.
As of now, only four smartphones from Micromax powered by MediaTek chipsets are available for the Aircel offer. The four smartphones are MMX 377G, Funbook Mini 410i, A090 and X070 feature phones. All the four devices are powered by MediaTek chipsets.
With the Micromax Dongle MMX 377G, Aircel will offer you 2GB/month data for the first three months and for the next 3 months, customers will get double data value for every recharge.
Micromax Funbook Mini 410i hasn’t been launched yet but Aircel will offer 1GB data per month, 1.2P/2 sec Local calling, 1.2P/ sec STD calling, WAP content worth Rs. 10,000 and Popkorn TV app free usage. The two feature phones, A090 and X070 are data enabled and Aircel will offer 500MB data per month, 1.2P/2 sec Local calling, 1.2P/sec STD calling and WAP content worth Rs. 10,000.
The devices will be available across various retail stores in India starting April.
