While Airtel has been steadily expanding its 4G services in Punjab, Aircel started launching its services in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Odisha.
Aircel has announced the launch of its 4G LTE services in four circles which includes Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Odisha. The operator which currently offers services under 2G, 3G and 4G LTE, is only the second in India after Airtel. The company had managed to win 20 MHz of spectrum in the 4G LTE 2300 MHz band in eight circles during the recent spectrum auction.
While the company is yet to announce the pricing of its 4G services in India, it has announced that it will provide high-speed network to receive dedicated internet and secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) services for its enterprise customers, whereas the Home customers would be offered high-speed broadband that will help connect any Wi-Fi device to support services such as faster internet access, Smart TVs, Virtual Home Solutions, Home Security, online gaming.
Speaking about its 4G services, Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer, Aircel said, “Our existing technological leadership position further lends to providing a promising and reliable 4G LTE service to our customers.
