A lot of the recent rumours suggest that Motorola, convinced by the success of the affordable Moto G, is planning another affordable smartphone called Moto E. Now the company has sent out press invites for an event later this month.
Motorola has announced an event in London on May 13. While the invite mentioned a new smartphone, it did not mention any name or details. However it did say that the handset is priced for all, thus hinting towards an affordable smartphone which has to be the Moto E. While Motorola is also said to be working on the Moto X+1, it unlikely to be launched as an affordable phone.
According to the rumours, the Moto E is said to flaunt a 4.3 inch display with 720p resolution. The device is expected to be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. Also expected in the latest Android KitKat version. The device is said to measure just 6.2 mm thin. The handset is expected to be priced at $230 off-contract.
