Acer has launched three new Android smartphones today and they have also finally returned to the Windows Phone family. The new affordable Acer Liquid M220 is the company’s first Windows Phone device in four years.
The Acer Liquid M220 is an entry level Windows Phone. The device comes with a 4-inch WVGA (800x480p) display and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual-core processor with the RAM being modest at 512 MB.
The budget smartphone comes with 4 GB internal storage and microSD expansion. On the camera front, there’s a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. There’s a modest 1300 mAh battery and the device will come with Windows Phone 8.1 and Acer says it will receive the Windows 10 update when it arrives. The phone will come in dual SIM flavour.
The Acer Liquid M220 will come in two color options – Mystic Blue and Pure White. The device will hit the market in April for 79 Euros (~Rs. 5,450).
