With most manufacturers releasing their octa-core powered handsets, Acer has decided to join in the trend with its new Acer Liquid X1.
Acer has announced the launch of the Acer Liquid X1, which is the company’s first smartphone to be powered by an octa core processor. The phone sports a 5 inch display based on Zero Air Gap with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by the octa core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The phone has 4G LTE connectivity.
The Acer Liquid X1 is equipped with a rear facing 13 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device comes installed with the latest Android KitKat version and a 2700 mAh battery. While the pricing is not yet revealed, we are told that the device would be available in Q3 2014 with black and red colour options.
