While the IFA 2013 is still days away, Acer has announced an unique and first of its kind smartphone called the Acer Liquid S2, which is the follow up to the flagship Acer Liquid S1.
The Acer Liquid S2 has a 6 inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels yet measures just 166 x 86 x 8.99 mm. the device is powered by the superfast quad core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Acer Liquid S2 has a massive 13 MP camera, which due to the Snapdragon 800 processor has 4K video recording capabilities, making it the first smartphone with the functionality. The device also has a front facing 2 MP camera. The smartphone runs on the Android v4.2.2 with Acer UI enhancements like Acer Float UI, Acer Data Traffic Manager and Acer Print and has a 3300 mAh battery.
