As part of its line-up for the Computex Expo, Acer has announced the new Acer Liquid Leap fitness band along with the Acer Liquid Jade smartphone.
The Acer Liquid Leap fitness band allows the user to track his fitness including the walked steps, running distance, calories burnt and sleeping cycle. The device has a 1 inch always-on display which displays the time and weather and also gives music play options. The band can also be connected to a smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0 to display the incoming call and SMS notifications. The battery is said to last for at least 5 days.
The fitness band will come along with the newly introduced Acer Liquid Jade which has a 5 inch HD display. The phone is powered by a quad core MediaTek processor and has a massive 13 MP camera with 0.3 s focus time, F/1.8 aperture and LED flash. Both the devices are expected to be released in the market later this quarter.
