While the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 is yet to get started, Acer has already announced its new flagship – the Acer Liquid Jade Z.
Acer has announced the launched of the Acer Liquid Jade Z, which is the successor to the Liquid Jade smartphone announced last year. The device has a 5 inch IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core MediaTek processor with 4G support, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Acer Liquid Jade Z has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android KitKat version which can be upgraded to the latest Android Lollipop version. The handset is priced at $220 and is available in black and white colour options.
