With the demand for affordable smartphone increasing rapidly mainly due to game-changers like the Moto G, Acer has thrown its hat in the ring with the Acer Liquid E3 and the Acer Liquid E4.
The Acer Liquid E3 and the Acer Liquid E4 are the company’s two budget range Android smartphones with decent specs. The devices have a 4.7 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Both the smartphones are powered by a quad core processor, with the Liquid E3 clocked at 1.2 GHz and the Liquid E4 slightly higher at 1.3 GHz. There is also 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage on both the phones.
The Acer Liquid E3 has a massive 13 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 2 MP camera whereas the Acer Liquid E4 has just a 5 MP rear facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. Both run on Android v4.2.2. The Liquid E3 is priced at just $275 while the Liquid E4 is even lower at $135. They are currently aimed for the European markets but may enter the Asian markets as well.
