Notwithstanding the fierce competition which is being seen in the global telephone markets, many companies are joining hands with each other to try to challenge the giants. And Acer and Intel is one such example. And the duo has today announced the launch of new smartphone called the Acer Liquid C1 with Intel Inside.
The 4.3 inch device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Atom Lexington Z2420 processor which was recently announced at the CES 2013 and also it is the same processor on which the recent debutant XOLO X500 get its processor power from.
The Acer Liquid C1 arrives with a 4.3-inch IPS screen with a 960 x 540 display resolution and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The internal storage is pegged at 4GB which can be expandable to 32 GB. There is an 8 MP autofocus camera on the rear with LED Flash and a VGA front camera.

The smartphone is powered by a 2000 mAh battery and the smartphone is being aimed at South East Asian markets. It will be available in Thailand for about $335 for prospective buyers.
