Given the increasing demand for tablets with screen sizes greater than 7 inches, Acer has launched the new Acer Iconia Tab 8.
Acer has announced the launch of the Acer Liquid X1, which is the company’s latest tablet in the Iconia range. The tablet, which comes with a metallic silver rear cover and a very slim profile, has a massive 8 inch display based on Zero Air Gap with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and 16:10 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a quad core Intel Atom processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 is equipped with a rear facing 5 MP camera. There is also a front facing camera. The device comes installed with the latest Android KitKat version. The company claims that the device tablet would offer up to 7.5 hours of battery life. The tablet is priced at 199 Euros and is expected to go on sale in June.
