The Acer Iconia Tab A700/A701 has been spotted amongst a profile documentation on the company’s support site, which goes on to reveal that the tablet will come out with an HD display and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 WUXGA and will boast NVIDIA’s new quad-core chipset, the Tegra 3 onboard.
There is no mention of the OS it would run on, so Honeycomb 3.2 would be default but we expect Acer to bring it out with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The screen size is not specified but it should be no less than 10 inch, to match up the high resolution. The Iconia 700 will be Wi-Fi only and 701 is said to have a 3G radio inside.
The Iconia 700/701 should have the basic hardware as the rear and front camera, HDMI and Bluetooth connectivity and GPS onboard.
