Olive Telecom announced the launch of it’s brand ‘Olive Convergence” in Kathmandu providing mobile users with everyday requirements in the world of connectivity.
The move also witnessed the release of Olive Pad, a tablet running on the Android 2.2 including features like built-in GPS, route navigation and voice based direction. The device is 3.5G Wi fi enabled and is loaded with Zenga TV enabling users to surf their channels on the go.
The company also released the first ever range of Zipbooks (3G embedded Netbooks) keeping in mind the growing field of 3G technology. In addition, they also showcased six cutting edge touchscreen mobile phones that include Olive Touch, Olive Buzz (QWERTY keypad phone),Olive Harmony and Olive Bigg ( dual Sim/dual standby phones) , Olive Frvr On (India’s first hybrid phone) and Olive Wiz ( India’s 1st Triple Sim QWERTY device).
With devices such as the Olive Nexus packet router still in the pipeline the company is now working closely with 24 network operators across the globe. The Nepal country distributor for Olive products is Mally Brothers.
