Continuing its offering in the niche flip-phone segment, Samsung has launched the premium Samsung W2017 flip phone in China.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung W2017, which is the company’s latest premium flip phone offering with a fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor. The device has 4.2 inch Super AMOLED dual display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 2.15 GHz quad core Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung W2017 has a 12 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, 1.4μm pixels and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 2300 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The handset is available in Gold and Black colour options.
