While officially announcing the Windows Phone 8 OS, Microsoft announced that Samsung is going to bring a ‘Ativ Odyssey’ in December to USA’s Verizon network. And today popular Twitter users @Evleaks who has a perfect track record has posted an image which is allegedly the press shot of the Samsung Ativ Odyssey.
Going by the looks, the Samsung Ativ Odyssey looks a lot like the Ativ S and arrives with the signature Samsung design but this time around, the physical home button has been replaced by the on-screen capacitive button.
The Samsung Ativ Odyssey is expected to arrive with a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor on which the new Windows Phone 8 smartphones are running.
On the left side, we can see that there is a microSD slot along with the volume rockers and we expect the power button to be on the right side of the smartphone. The back panel of the Samsung Ativ Odyssey is expected to be made of plastic too and arrive with the same brushed metal finish that the Ativ S arrives with.
We do not have any more information on the smartphone yet but it is to be available in December over Verizon’s network in the USA.
