We came across a leaked image of alleged HTC Desire 10 around a month ago. Now, according to the latest information, HTC is going to launch two new smartphones in the Desire 10 series – Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro. The Taiwanese company is said to launch both these devices in September end this year.
According to the information passed down to Evan Blass of Venture Beat, HTC will launch both these mid-range smartphones in September end. While details of Desire 10 Lifestyle were shared with Venture Beat, specifications of Desire 10 Pro remain unknown.
The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle will be powered by an unknown Snapdragon quad-core processor from Qualcomm and will have two variants – 2 GB RAM + 16 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage.
The Desire 10 Lifestyle is expected to feature a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, both of which will come with BSI sensors and the capability to record Full-HD footage (well, that’s not something new). The device will sport a 5.5-inch HD display and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense atop.
The Desire 10 Lifestyle will come also feature BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition stereo speakers with 24-bit system audio. The device is also said to come with high quality earbuds having increased frequency range to leverage enhanced audio output.
Talking about the design of Desire 10 Lifestyle, the device will be available to choose from multiple colors and will flaunt a metallic gold trim on the edges and around camera lens, flash and antenna cutouts (something similar to the image shown above). While the image shown above sports dual LED flash, the Desire 10 Lifestyle is said to feature single LED flash, hence, it’s not necessary that the final device will look like what we have shown above.
Now, coming back to the Desire 10 Pro, from the name itself we can say that it will have better specs as compared to Desire 10 Lifestyle. As of now, there’s not much information available besides what we have told, but do expect to come across more information like leaked images of the devices and detailed specifications in the coming days.
Also, if HTC actually launches both these devices in September, we will possibly see a total of 4 devices from HTC that month. Wondering about the other 2 devices? We are referring to HTC made Nexus Sailfish and Nexus Marlin.
