People always look for the best specifications available in the smartphone, however, they overlook the audio quality. Sound quality is yet one of the important features for a great multimedia experience. A poor sound quality can actually ruin the fun. Honor 5C focuses on various aspects of sound delivering a clear sound impression. If you don’t remember, Honor 5C is the latest handset by the Huawei’s sub-brand Honor which offers top notch specifications at a marginal price of ₹10,999.
People usually ignore or give it a less priority until they experience it. Honor 5C features a mono speaker on the bottom area that sounds really loud and well. The same was the case in Honor 5X, the audio output was loud. Honor 5C houses a decent loudspeaker which doesn’t break your delightful multimedia experience.
We made calls to test the audio quality of the smartphone and we did not face any issues. The voice quality during the calls made was fair and communication over the phone’s earpiece is considerably good. The handset has two microphones one placed at the bottom under the left grill and another over the top where there’s a 3.5 mm stereo jack. Huawei improved the amount of audio output up to 30% if you plug in the earpiece eventually providing louder and audible volumes.
Music quality is yet another pleasant experience. We played a number of tracks and it turns out that it has a very decent quality over the other phones in this price range. We would love to have a stereo speaker if Honor could incorporate it, but as Honor 5C has a mono speaker, everything works even well with it.
Apart from the best audio quality Honor made it possible, it also features a very tough specs such as a 2 GHz octa-core Kirin 650 CPU, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, a brilliant 13 MP and an 8 MP camera, and Android Marshmallow goodness, everything in a compact 5.2-inch package costing ₹10,999. Do check out our Honor 5C review.
