We saw the leaked press renders of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition last week. While there was no confirmation from Samsung about the Olympic Edition at that time, we now know that device will be made official next week on July 7.
The teaser video has been posted on Facebook page of Samsung Mobile Germany which says “Ge7 Ready” for an unpacked event on July 7, 2016. The Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition is special edition which has been created to commemorate the upcoming Olympic Games held in Brazil.
If you take a closer look at the image shared above, the Olympic Edition flaunts colors that are a part of the Olympic logo. It flaunts yellow accent at the front on the earpiece and around the home button, blue accent at the back around the camera and flash. It has also covered the volume rockers on the left with green color and power button on the right with red color. The overall body is covered with black color, hence, completing five colors that are a part of the Olympic logo.
However, being a special edition doesn’t mean it differs in specifications from the regular edition of Galaxy S7 edge. If you remember, Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition back in May which also is a special edition but has specs similar to that of the regular edition.
Check out the teaser video below.
There’s no word on pricing and availability of the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition as of now, but, we will know it soon once the device is unveiled next week. By the way, which special edition of Galaxy S7 edge did you like the most? Injustice Edition or Olympic Edition?
