The Coolpad Max has a brilliant 13 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP camera on the front. We have already talked about its gorgeous metallic design which adds a premium touch to it. Now we are going to jump on a few Coolpad Max camera samples.

The 13 MP shooter uses a Samsung ISOCELL 3M2 CMOS sensor with PDAF and aperture number f/2.0. The camera features a dual-tone LED flash. The user interface of the camera is neat and clean while also taking the shots very quickly. As the Coolpad Max sports a fingerprint scanner at the back, you can capture images by tapping the scanner with your finger. There is a Quick capture key on the camera settings which is turned on by default. Another smart feature is Quick Capture that lets you shoot images from standby i.e. without unlocking the device, you just need to press the volume down key two times quickly and the camera captures the image instantly.
It supports a number of modes such as HDR, Night, Pro, Long Exposure, Panorama, Beauty, GIF, PickZoom, ReFocus, and Sound & Shot. You can also access the various filters from the camera interface.
Coolpad Max Camera Samples
Coolpad Max camera samples are added below, we have shared some of the samples and you should really check them out. The shots taken are in Normal mode and HDR mode with different lighting conditions like daylight, artificial light, and low light.
The images appear to be somewhat darker in daylight yet good when there is enough amount of lights coming but when there is low light, the images tend to give little noise and grains although rather bright scenes. Due to the OIS missing, you have to hold the phone steady to capture low light shots or you may end up using a tripod. The camera doesn’t support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) while many smartphones in this price category have it.
If you are familiar with pro features, you can manually tweak the camera’s pro mode settings to get better quality images. It has ISO, White Balance, Manual Focus, Exposure, Exposure Time, Saturation and Color.
The camera captures some brilliant shots and thus, the camera performance is pretty decent, however, you shouldn’t expect some extraordinary shots with this 13 MP shooter if you are a camera enthusiast. The HDR mode assists to capture brighter images. Overall, we think the camera performance is very good in daylight conditions.
