LG is all in to take on Samsung. The very next day after Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S III to the world; LG went ahead and announced the LG LTE2 for Korea which came out with a whooping 2 GB RAM and huge 2150 mAh battery.
And now we see another LG device with some awesome specs. The LG LS970 has not been official announced but is probably heading over to Sprint’s network in the US under the name of ‘LG Eclipse’ LTE 4G.
The LG LS970 is for now rumoured to arrive with the following specs:
- Snapdragon SoC with 1.5 GHz Krait Processor
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 2GB RAM (Yes! Again)
- 4.67 inch LCD screen with screen resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels
- 16 GB of internal storage
- Huge 13 MP camera at the rear
- LTE capabilities
- Weighs only 142 grams8.6mm thick
- 2100 mAh battery
So the specs of the LG LS970 are indeed a step higher and better than any LTE supported smartphone and with the Snapdragon chipset the performance of the device would indeed be better than any Tegra 3 or even Exynos powered smartphone.
But we also have to remind you that these are leaked and rumoured specs and details so the final specs could change and also we cannot confirm anything until we hear anything officially from LG themselves. Until then just take a few minutes and think if these specs are true, then how LG’s competitors would counter devices like this and the LG LTE2 in the coming few months.
