After continuously teasing the upcoming Xiaomi Max phablet, Xiaomi has now officially revealed the launch date.
Xiaomi has officially announced that the upcoming Xiaomi Max phablet with a massive 6.4 inch display would be announced on May 10 at the Beijing National Convention Center in China. However, while we earlier thought that the smartphone would be a high-end flagship offering, new reports suggest that it would be just a mid-range offering with a very large display.
According to rumours, the Xiaomi Max phablet would sport a 6.4 inch display but with full HD resolution and not Quad HD resolution. Similarly, the smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 650 processor instead of the Snapdragon 820 processor. The handset is said to have a fingerprint scanner on the back and is expected to pack in a massive battery.
