RIM has launched the latest Curve smartphone in India which is the Curve 9220 in India. It is the global launch and it will be available in India first from the 19th of April.
The new Curve 9220 will come with the new BB OS 7.1, a 2MP camera at the back, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, FM radio and a large battery of 1450 mAh.
Of course there will be BBM and all the enterprise apps including BlackBerry Fusion. This new smartphone has the biggest battery backup available on any Curve device and is said to have a 7 hour talktime backup and 28 hours of music playback.
As a promotion the company is offering the users of the new BlackBerry Curve 9220 will be able to download free apps worth Rs. 2,500 for a limited period till the 30th of June.
The price of the Curve 9220 is priced at Rs. 10,990. ($210 approx.)
