Sony has made it official and has launched the Xperia S smartphone in India. It is the first phone after the break-up of Sony Ericsson into Sony Mobile Communications. The company has also unveiled three other smartphones in the range namely the Xperia U, P and Sola which will be launched in the coming months.
The launch saw an amazing performance at the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon, which was quite apt with Sony’s new strategy and tagline “Made to Imagine”.
The Xperia S is sleek looking handset with a nice and bright 4.3 inch display with Sony’s Bravia Engine technology. It is also the compnay’s first dual-core processor equipped handset clocking at 1.5 Ghz. At the back there is an amazing 12MP snapper which clicks really incredible pictures and also full 1080p HD videos.
