Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based CyanogenOS 13 has started rolling out to OnePlus One. This update comes just few days after OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei confirmed that the Marshmallow update for the OnePlus One was in final testing stage.
Carl Peil tweeted “Marshmallow for the One is in the final testing stage. Can’t give ETA as it depends on other parties, but should be very soon.” Just as Mr. Pei said, the Marshmallow update for the OnePlus One is now rolling out.
“Our friends over at Cyanogen have informed us that CM 13.0 (ZNH0EAS26M) based on Marshmallow will drop starting tomorrow. The rollout will be staged so only some of you (random) will get it at first, and as always, patience is appreciated.” wrote OnePlus on their forums.
Head on to the CyanogenMod blog to see what can be expected from this new update. As this update is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, you can expect all the Marshmallow goodness like Google Now On Tap, App Permissions, Doze, etc. The update is gradually rolling out to everyone over-the-air, but, just in case you haven’t received it or can’t wait to get your hands on the new update, you can download the OTA ZIP file from here and flash it using recovery.
