Sharp’s SH-06D NERV is a Sci-Fi smartphone right out of your Anime dreams

There are a number of smartphone’s out there and handset makers do everything to attract customers. They bend it, slice it, flatten it, put jewels on it, and what not. Japanese manufacturer Sharp isn’t any exception. They have some really cool looking smartphones, and particularly this.

The SH-06D NERV smartphone is something that you might have never seen, just maybe in anime cartoons. This smartphone jumps right of the popular Japanese anime ‘Evangelion’ and features a UI that will certainly make your jaw drop. (Mine is still open while writing this). The looks of the smartphone remind me of science-fiction movies with all the space age gizmos and devices.

Getting back to reality, it is an Android device and has the same specs as the Sharp Aquos SH-06D3D, including a 4.5-inch, 720p, 3D “MAGI” display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is sadly a Japan-only version (BOOO!!!) and only a limited number of the units will go on sale in June.
