Nexus 5X which was launched with a price tag of $379 for 16GB model and $429 for the 32GB model, has now received a price cut from Google.
Google, in a tweet through its Nexus handle made the announcement about the price cut. As can be seen in the image above, the tweet reads “Experience pure #Android for less with the #Nexus5X. Now starting at $349“. Both the models of the Nexus 5X, the 16GB and 32GB ones, have received a price slash of $30. The 16GB model can be bought for $349, whereas the 32GB model can be bought for $399.
Though, this price tag is only for purchases made from the Google Store in the US. Different countries may have different price tags. Also, you might be able to get the Nexus 5X cheaper from an e-commerce website.
Talking about India, the Nexus 5X here too has received a price slash of Rs.4000. The 16GB model now costs Rs.23,900, whereas, the 32GB model will cost you Rs.27,900. The Nexus 5X is already being sold for a price lesser than that of Google Store. The 16GB models is priced at Rs.23,490 whereas the 32GB model is priced at Rs.31,990 on Amazon India. With the price cut, it’s worth noting that the 16GB model is cheaper, whereas the 32GB model is expensive on Amazon India.
