Nokia is finally getting into the game by launching Windows Phone handsets. The company recently launched two handsets in its Lumia series (710 and 800) and is getting a great response from its customers.
The Lumia 800 which shares its design with the N9 is a stunning looking smartphone and we had a nice hands on experience at the launch event in New Delhi. The handset recently started shipping in the UK and well, we have some news straight from Nokia Conversations that the handset has received the Phone of the Year award at the What Mobile Awards 2011 at London’s Whisky Mist.
According to the source, the decision was taken after thousands of readers voted for their favourite new phones, apps and networks during October on the magazine’s website.
