Alongside the flagship iPhone 6S, Apple has also announced the phablet version of the flagship – the Apple iPhone 6S Plus.
Apple has announced the launch of the Apple iPhone 6S Plus, which is the company’s latest smartphone with the unique 3D Touch which would allow the user to press down on the iPhone’s screen to pull up new menus, activate shortcuts, and generally interact with the device. The device would recognize two touch interactions – Peek, which would allow to press on app icons and other buttons to pull up shortcuts directly into specific features; and Pop would allow to pull up overlays of photos and videos without actually having them take over the screen,
The Apple iPhone 6S Plus maintains the same design language of the previous flagship but is said to employ a more toughened glass for the display, which the company claims to be the strongest glass cover” for an iPhone till date. The device has 5.5 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD Retina display with Ion-X glass. The smartphone is powered by the new 64-bit Apple A9 processor, which is said to be 70 percent faster than the previous processor.
The Apple iPhone 6S Plus now finally has a 12 MP rear facing auto focus camera with true tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with Retina flash. The handset is now available in four colour options – Silver, Gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold.
