With most smartphone vendors taking the online route in the Indian market, Microsoft also has now launched its official online store.
Microsoft has announced the partnership with Snapdeal to launch its online store on the popular e-commerce portal. The online store would cater to a wide range of Microsoft products such as phones, tablets, PCs and software. All the Lumia smartphones will be available on the store and would be shipped to 5000 towns and cities across India.
Speaking about the partnership, Sharlin Thayil, Group OEM Director, Microsoft India, said, “Increasingly consumers are going online to shop for a number of things, including mobiles, devices, software and accessories. We therefore see tremendous opportunity in delivering Microsoft products and services through our online store to these customers. Our latest store on Snapdeal will help us reach more such customers and offer excellent choice, value and service that customers expect from Microsoft stores.”
