While we have been hearing a lot about Vivo’s upcoming smartphone, the company has now officially announced the Vivo X5 Pro in China.
Vivo has announced the launch of the Vivo X5 Pro, which flaunts a unique eye recognition technology that identifies users by scanning their eyeball vein pattern. The device has a 5.2 inch AMOLED display with 2.5D glass technology and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Vivo X5 Pro has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2300 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $435 however the global availability is not yet known.
