While the HTC Butterfly series is popular given the specs it holds. The company has now launched the HTC J Butterfly in Japan.
HTC has announced the launch of the HTC J Butterfly in Japan specifically for KDDI. The device has a 5.2 inch SLCD3 display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 810 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The handset is water and dust resistant with IPX5/ IPX7 waterproof rating standard.
The HTC J Butterfly has a 20 MP rear facing duo camera setup with dual LED flash. There is also a massive front facing 13 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2700 mAh battery. The handset is available in red, blue and white colour options. The device is supposed to be released in Japan in early June, following which it may launch globally as the HTC Butterfly 3.
