While most on the smartphone vendors are focusing on the 5 inch range, Sony has launched a new handset with a slightly smaller display – the Sony Xperia A4.
Sony has announced the launch of the Sony Xperia A4 for NTT Docomo in Japan. The device has a 4.6 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Sony Xperia A4 has a 20.7 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony G lens, f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing 2.2 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 2600 mAh battery. The handset is available in Grey, Pink, Blue and White colour options. There is a possibility that this handset could be launched globally as the Xperia Z4 Compact.
