Ever since the Motorola Moto G and the Moto E arrived, the low-end and mid-range smartphone market has gone through some great change. The companies started taking low-end and mid-range devices seriously and companies like Xiaomi further enhanced things. Well, today we have some awesome devices at our expense at both the low-end and the mid-range. Well, what about the higher mid-range? There are certainly some great devices at the Rs. 20-30,000 price range for people wanting some high-specced devices.
So, today we list you the best 5 devices to buy in the rs. 20-30,000 price range. Here you go:
1. Huawei Honor 6 Plus
Huawei has always brought us some great value for money devices and although the Honor 6 Plus is priced at a premium, we believe it’s worth it. The Honor 6 features a premium glass-back design along with some great camera innovations. The rear dual camera (8MP + 8MP) is arguably the best camera right now on an Android smartphone. Add to that, the 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display is beautiful and the 3600 mAh battery performs exceptionally well. Overall, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus priced at Rs. 26,499 is worth all that money. There are also a lot of cashback offers with the device on Flipkart and Huawei is also offering 1.5 years of warranty, which surely sweetens the deal.
2. Xiaomi Mi 4
Xiaomi has taken the Indian market by storm and it continues to do so with the Xiaomi Mi 4. While the Mi 4 isn’t priced as low as the Mi 3, it’s still aggressively priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 64 GB version. The Mi 4 offers a gorgeous metal design and there’s a crisp 5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display. The performance is satisfactory as well with the Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor doing great. The 8 MP camera on the front and the 13 MP cam on the rear are pretty impressive. Last but certainly not the least, the 3080 mAh battery performs pretty well.
3. OnePlus One
We are pretty sure you might have heard of the OnePlus One, thanks to its highly marketed invite-only system. The OnePlus One is a pretty great device, thanks to its pricing. The design is lovely and the performance is very consistent throughout, thanks to the Snapdragon 801 processor and 3 GB RAM. The 13 MP rear camera and the 5 MP front-facing camera performed admirably along with 3100 mAh battery. OnePlus recently brought its own Lollipop-based Oxygen OS for the Indian OnePlus owners, so that shouldn’t be a problem too. At Rs. 21,999, the OnePlus One is certainly worthy for all the adulation.
4. Moto X 2nd Gen
The Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen is a pretty capable smartphone and we love it. The metal design is lovely and we love the great performance we get from the device, thanks to the Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. We also like the gorgeous 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, considering we always have been fans of AMOLED displays. While we would have liked the battery life to be better, the 13 MP rear camera and the 2 MP front facing camera is also pretty decent. The device has gone through a price cut and it’s now available for Rs. 24,999 for the 16 GB version and Rs. 27,999 for the 64 GB version.
5. Gionee Elife S7
Gionee has always brought some cool smartphones to the market and the recently launched Elife S7 is no exception. The Elife S7 brings some drool worthy specs, a sleek design at a decent price tag. The Elife S7 packs in a good design and we like how solid it feels. The performance is also admirable and consistent. There are not many negatives with the device and the camera is decent if you keep your expectations in check. The Gionee Elife S7 is available at around Rs. 24,490 and we believe at this price, the Elife S7 is good value for money.
To sum things up, these are the best phones if you are looking for a capable smartphone in the price range of Rs. 20,000-30,000. Yes, we like the Honor 6 Plus of the lot, all thanks to that amazing camera it packs but other than that, we believe the other smartphones are good enough. So, what do you think?
