While Samsung has already announced price cuts for its high-end models including the flagship Galaxy S5, the company has now announced price cuts for its budget offerings.
Samsung has started slashing the prices of the company’s entry-level and budget offerings in India to compete in the price sensitive Indian smartphone market. The Samsung Galaxy Star Advance, which was launched in India for Rs. 7400, is now priced at Rs. 6620. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT, which was also launched at Rs. 7400, is now available at Rs. 6790.
Samsung has also slashed the prices of the popular budget smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, which was launched for Rs. 18299, is now priced at just Rs. 13668. Also the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo, which was launched in India for Rs. 26200, is now on sale at Rs. 20910. The company has facing fierce competition not only from the Indian manufacturers like Micromax but also the Chinese makers like Xiaomi.
