If you have been using tablets running Android 4.2 or higher, you would know that they support multi-user mode but sadly, the feature isn’t present on Android smartphones. Well, that might change soon, as Google might be planning to bring the feature to Android smartphones with its next Android release, that’s Android L.
A developer at Google gave the info out while replying to a request to bring the multi-user mode feature on Android smartphones. The developer stated that “the development team has implemented this feature and it will be available as a part of the next public build.” While there’s no confirmation that Android L will bring the feature but since the next ‘public build’ is Android L, we can expect the feature to be present.
While Google has revealed some of the new features of Android L, there are a lot of other goodies it will bring. The developer preview can already be downloaded but Google will add more features when Android L finally releases for everyone. So, hopefully we can expect multi-user mode to be present.
