Google introduced the new UI design language dubbed Material Design with Android L and we sure expect the new design refresh to come to all Google apps. Today, screenshots of Google Play Store with the material design refresh have leaked suggesting we could see the Play Store get it soon.
The leaked screenshots show us the Google Play Store in the Material Design UI and things surely look refreshing. With Material Design, Google brings a new image focused, cleaner looking UI and it can be seen in all its glory in the screenshots. The new UI also brings a more video and image focused approach, as we can see the video occupying all of the header. The new UI also features much more whites instead of the greys that Google uses in the current Play Store version.
While Android L might release later this year in October or November, it is not really necessary that the new updated Google Play Store will roll out then, considering Google has already started using Material Design on some of its services. With the screenshots leaking, we can expect the new Play Store to roll out soon.
