After the grand success of Moto G in India, Motorola is all set to cut through the smartphone market with its new ultra affordable Moto E.
Motorola has officially announced the Moto E in India. The smartphone has a 4.3 inch display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The device is powered by the dual core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with the Adreno 302 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage, which unlike the Moto G, can be expanded up to 32 GB using micro SD cards.
The Moto E has a 5 MP rear facing camera without any flash. Also there is no front facing camera. The smartphone supports dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with 3G connectivity. The phone runs on the latest Android KitKat version, which according to the company is seen on 91 percent Moto X handsets and 88 percent Moto G handsets which is way higher compared to the average of 8 percent of all Android devices.
The Moto E is priced surprisingly well at just Rs. 6999 and would be available exclusively through Flipkart in India starting from tonight. This price point will be disastrous for the Indian manufacturers who have been selling devices with lower specs in this price range. Are you excited about the ultra-affordable Moto E? Let us know.
