XOLO has just launched a new smartphone aimed at the budget market dubbed XOLO Q1010i and XOLO is highlighting the Exmor R camera sensor the device features.
The XOLO Q1010i is a pretty slim device, measuring at 8.3 mm thickness. It features a 5-inch IPS HD (1280x720p) display, making for a respectable ppi of 294. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT 6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU. There’s 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and microSD expansion up to 32 gigs.
The main highlight of the device according to XOLO is the 8 MP camera with Exmor R sensor and a LED flash, which Sony claims brings exceptional image quality. There are the usual software tricks like HDR, scene detection & tuning, low Light enhancement, face recognition, vertical & horizontal Panorama capture and geo tagging. There’s a 2 MP front facing camera for your selfie and Skype needs.
XOLO Q1010i comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but XOLO says, the device will get an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat. The device comes with a 2250 mAh battery. The smartphone comes with Dual SIM support as well.
On the connectivity front, the Q1010i features the usual set of options like 3G support, USB 2.0, USB on-the-go, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and WLAN support. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 13,499.
