LG has just announced a new smartphone for China Mobile’s huge user base, the LG-E985T which is basically a LG Optimus G Pro with some little changes.
The LG-E985T features TD-LTE and FD-LTE support and will be launching with the world’s largest carrier, China Mobile which has nearly 750 million subscribers. Currently China supports the TD-LTE network and not the more widely used FD-LTE network. The device will also be launching China Mobile’s 4G services.
The device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display making up for an impressive pixel density of 400ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2 gigs of RAM. There’s 16GB of internal storage along with microSD expansion of up to 32GB.
A 13MP camera with LED flash graces the back of LG-E985T while there is a 2.1MP front facing camera. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean runs the show and a 2940 mAh removable battery powers the device. The phablet will be available in Indigo Black and Luna White. The pricing for the device on China Mobile hasn’t been revealed yet.
