After the Galaxy Note 3 launch, Samsung has seemingly gone into the dormant mode with hardly any other new phones to look out for. But a new certification shows otherwise. The company is indeed working on another device that may end up in the high end range.
According to sources, a mysterious Samsung phone has passed the Bluetooth certification. The device with model number GT-I9118 is apparently limited to the Asian region only. The device also seems to have support for HSP, AVRCP, OPP, PAN, HID, A2DP, HFP, PBAP, DI, and MAP.
While there are no other rumours correlating to the device, given the GT-I9XXX numbering we can conclude that this is a high end device. Further the number seems to be quite close to the Galaxy Mega 5.8’s GT-I9152, thus raising hopes that this would be another phablet device from the company. Given the success of the Mega series, it wouldn’t be surprising to see yet another addition to the line.
