Late last month, OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta updates for OnePlus 5, 5T, 6, and 6T. But soon after, the company pulled out these beta updates for all four of these smartphones as some units got bricked. Well now, after almost a month, OnePlus has again released Open Beta updates for these smartphones.
OnePlus has released Open Beta updates 27 and 25 for OnePlus 5 and 5T respectively, and Open Beta updates 13 and 5 for OnePlus 6 and 6T respectively. These are minor updates and don’t bring any features to the phones.
Here’s the change-log of OxygenOS Open Beta updates 27 and 25 for OnePlus 5 and 5T:
- System
- Gaming mode enhancement
- OnePlus Clock
- Added weather information in the world clock module (not the clock widget as mentioned in the device changelog)
And here’s the change-log of OxygenOS Open Beta updates 13 and 5 for OnePlus 6 and 6T:
- System
- General bug fixes and improvements
- Clock
- Fixed lag while setting an alarm
- Phone
- Improved stability for video calls
These updates are rolling out over-the-air, and as always, only those units will receive these updates that are flashed with a previous beta build. If your phone is running the official build, it won’t get the beta update.
