Lenovo has announced the 2-in-1 convertible laptops, the Yoga 730 and Yoga 530 (a.k.a Flex 14 in North America) at MWC 2018. The Lenovo Yoga 530 is the affordable line up powered by 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor whereas the Yoga 730 is slightly more premium than Yoga 530.
The Lenovo Yoga 530 is a 14-inch laptop that converts into a tablet PC and it’s highly portable weighing 1.6 kgs. It sports a Full HD touch display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with Lenovo Active Pen 2 using 4,096 levels of sensitivity to write, draw, or annotate with Windows Ink. It is based on Windows 10 OS featuring Cortana and Amazon Alexa as well as a fingerprint scanner through Windows Hello.
The Lenovo Yoga 530 is powered by 8th generation Intel Core-i processors of up to Core i7 options. Lenovo offers the convertible with a discrete graphics of Nvidia GeForce MX130 4 GB GDDR5 or Intel Graphics depending on the variant and up to 16 GB RAM choices with up to 512 GB SSD.
Connectivity options include a USB 3.1 Type-C port, 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A port, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader, and a 3.5 mm headphones jack. Lenovo claims the battery life of up to 10 hours with Rapid Charge support which gives 2 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.
The Lenovo Yoga 530 starts at 549 Euros which is equivalent to Rs43,950 while the more premium Yoga 730 in 13-inch and 15-inch variants start at 1,099 Euros and 999 Euros respectively. The Yoga 530 along with the Yoga 730 convertibles will be available in June this year.
