We had just reported about Sony’s press event on June 25 where possibly a phablet could be announced. Seems like we might indeed get to see a 6 incher from Sony at the event.
According to reports, Sony is working on its first big-screened phone which is said to be named as the Xperia ZU. While there is no confirmation, the phablet is expected to be featured at the June 25 event in Germany.
Briefly, the Sony Xperia ZU is said to have a 6.44 inch 1080p full HD display with Sony’s new Triluminous technology. The phone is said to be powered by either a Snapdragon 600 or 800 and have an 8MP Exmor RS camera module. Like most other Sony smartphones, even this phablet would be IP58 certified, meaning it will be waterproof.
