While Google is trying to divert all the attention from the Apple event tomorrow, and Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 event on October 29th, The Next Web spills some bean on the numerous launches we could see at the event.
To start with, a “source with knowledge of Google’s plans” says that the search engine giant is bound to launch the much-leaked and unofficially confirmed Nexus 7 with 32 GB of internal storage.
Also we are hearing from the source that we could see a Nexus 7 with 3G HSPA+ connectivity on-board with 32 GB storage too. So this is good news for people who were praying for the 3G variant of the Nexus 7 to use the tablet on the move.
Next, we do know that this time around Google has partnered with LG to bring out its next generation of Nexus smartphone called the LG Nexus 4 which has leaked quite a many times and we know almost everything about it.
Then, we are hearing that Google is planning to enter the 10-inch tablet market with a Samsung built tablet which it might call the Nexus 10 and is said to be arriving with an awesome high-resolution display of 2560×1600 pixel and pixel density of 300PPI which is higher than the Apple iPad’s 264 PPI.
The tablet is codenamed “Manta” and supposed to arrive with new Android 4.2 on-board. The Android 4.2 OS is said to be bringing some new features, minor design changes, possibly a multi-user interface and improvements over the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
We are a week away from the event and expect more leaks and rumours to pop in with each passing day.
